Will Ray Palmer’s brother surface in ‘Arrow’ season 5, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ season 2?

Ray -

While Sydney Palmer may not have been a name with a whole lot of wait around it prior to the start of “Arrow” this season, one key scene of “Legends of Tomorrow” recently changed that. We saw the bust of Ray Palmer’s brother in the future, which was a sign that he could someday bring about a new (and potentially dangerous) era of robotics.

Are we ever going to meet this guy in the flesh? Based on some information that we have right now, the answer could be “yes.” Just take a look at what executive producer Marc Guggenheim had to say on the subject as a part of a new interview with TVLine:

“[He] is a potential Arrow character … [But] we’ve actually been talking about seeing [Sydney] in Legends Season 2.”

Guggenheim also added that despite their physical similarity, Ray and Sydney are not twins; therefore, there’s a chance that the show could cast someone new in the role for the fifth season. At the moment, we do know that the CW series is looking to bring on a new villain, and to go along with that, Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt) will be a series regular for the first time. We don’t really know where Palmer Tech fits in with everything else that is going on, especially since Smoak Technologies in one vision of the future seems to be the more prominent company.

Just as you would expect, we do plan on having way more news when it comes to both of these shows soon. Stay on the lookout!
