‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: JoJo Fletcher meets an eclectic group of guys in premiere

If there’s one thing that we have certainly come to know over time about “The Bachelorette,” it is that the first night is typically full of all sorts of ridiculous entrances. It’s easy to assume that some of these are “suggested” by producers, while a few others are created by some suitors based on their own ideas. The funny thing here is that the majority of the winners, or at least the ones we can remember, are the ones who come in without too crazy of a gimmick. (Lauren Bushnell played up her job slightly this past season, but it wasn’t a huge deal; meanwhile, we don’t remember Shawn Booth doing anything crazy.)

Yet, there are definitely some gimmicks as apparent in the synopsis below from the May 23 premiere:

“A nervous but beaming Bachelorette is blown away by the lengths some of the bachelors go to create a memorable first meeting. One southern gentleman uses his guitar to charm JoJo with a song he wrote for her. A DJ brings a classic R&B group, All-4-One, to serenade her. One shy man shows off his Scottish heritage – and legs – by wearing a kilt. But one bachelor really stands out by riding in on a unicorn, harkening back to JoJo’s own entrance on ‘The Bachelor.'”

Yep, there is always that person who wants to one-up what the person did on their previous season. Take, for example, the guy on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season who tried to tell his own dirty joke to counteract what she told Chris Soules.
