If you have been eagerly awaiting the return of Bran Stark to “Game of Thrones,” trust us when we say that we’re right there with you. Isaac Hempstead-Wright has been gone from the show for over a season, but he will be returning Sunday night to present more of his character’s story. He’s been training with the Children, and when you see him coming up, he will be far more advanced than the guy we saw previously.

For some other news on this right now, just take a look at what Hempstead-Wright had to say in a lengthy teaser to Entertainment Weekly:

“Bran is pretty d–n close to being the Three-Eyed Raven now. Previously, he’s seen tiny glimpses of future or past but never has he been very much in control of the situation. Now we’re given looks into very important events in the past, present, and future of this world and Bran is beginning to piece them together like a detective, almost as if he’s watching the show. Equally, he’s now discovering how crucial he could be in the Great War. It’s quite Inception-y. His power is not just in telling us about the history, but also might have a serious impact on the future.”

What we’re most excited about is the idea of him being able to impact some other storylines. While we don’t know for certain this is happening, all signs point towards him having a larger role. It may be a shock for many of them to even discover that he is still alive, mostly because of how long it’s been since they last saw him.
