‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 19 video: Quentin learns some (other) bad news

Arrow -Wednesday night’s new episode of “Arrow” is entitled “Canary Cry,” and we’re going to see in so many ways characters from this show undergo their stages of grief.

Unfortunately, one of these stages is denial, and thanks to the supernatural nature of this world, it is become rather easy for Quentin to be thrown even further down the rabbit hole. In the sneak peek below for this upcoming episode, you can see Paul Blackthorne’s character approach Nyssa, hoping that they can work together in order to bring Laurel Lance back. It’s at this point he first becomes aware that she destroyed the Lazarus Pit, and there is no longer way to revive his daughter. Laurel is truly gone, or at least this is what Nyssa says.

From here, Quentin makes it clear that he will find some other way to revive his daughter, but this is obviously the sort of thing that is easily said than done. As a matter of fact, we don’t think it will be done at all. One of the real points of killing off Laurel was to further instill that nobody is safe in this world.

Will we see Katie Cassidy again in the CW – DC universe? Definitely, but it will be over on “The Flash” for now, where we will get to meet the Earth-2 version of Laurel in the form of Black Siren. It’s a different sort of character, and someone we imagine is going to be a great addition to the show for a short period of time.
