‘Game of Thrones’ season 6, episode 2 spoilers: More details on ‘Home’ and beyond

LogoWe’ve noted for some time just how secretive HBO has been when it comes to releasing details on “Game of Thrones” episodes, going so far as to not even officially reveal synopses for any episodes beyond the premiere. The one that they did reveal for “The Red Woman” was short enough to fit on a fortune cookie.

In the past, the network has been so kind as to release a month’s worth of episode details at one time. They’re not doing that here, but we do at least have some scoop on the next two episodes of the show, beginning with Sunday’s “Home”:

“Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) trains with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow). In King’s Landing, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) advises Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman). Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) demands good news, but has to make his own. At Castle Black, the Night’s Watch stands behind Thorne (Owen Teale). Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) proposes a plan, and Balon Greyjoy (Patrick Malahide) entertains other proposals.”

Meanwhile, here is also the first synopsis for May 8’s “Oathbreaker,” which is clearly a nod to a certain installment from the past:

“Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets her future. Bran meets the past. Tommen confronts the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Arya (Maisie Williams) trains to be No One. Varys (Conleth Hill) finds an answer. Ramsay gets a gift.”

As soon as more details are revealed, you better believe that we’ll have them for you here. Clearly, this should be seen as a sign that HBO probably isn’t going to release much about 6×04 until around / after “Outhbreaking” airs.
