‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: On Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and ‘All in the Family’

Who doesn’t love “Supernatural” when Sam and Dean are being the most heroic? We’ve always enjoyed their exploits, and we certainly believe we’re going to be seeing plenty more of that as we move along this season … especially during the upcoming May 11 episode that carries with it the title of “All in the Family.”

Want to get some more details as to why this could be a fun one for Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, the synopsis below reveals that they’re going to have to be exceptionally clever in their efforts to ensure that Lucifer / Castiel is protected from Amara, who of course is reveling in her chaos and destruction at every possible turn:

“Amara (guest star Emily Swallow) shows Dean (Jensen Ackles) how she’s torturing Lucifer (Misha Collins). Worried for Castiel, Dean and Sam (Jared Padalecki) come up with a plan to rescue him from Amara’s clutches.”

Throughout this storyline we certainly envision that we’re going to build towards what will probably be an insane showdown that lasts for the remainder of the season. If Jeremy Carver and the writers were really planning to dispatch of Amara before we got around to the finale, don’t you think that they would have done so? That’s at least our thinking at present. Maybe they’ll use the finale to set up in part season 12, but we also imagine that there’s going to be plenty of Amara chaos thrown in there for good measure. We’re looking forward to every second of it.
