‘Shameless’ season 6, episode 12 (finale) spoilers: The wedding for Emmy Rossum’s Fiona is here

“Shameless” season 6 has certainly been a wild rollercoaster, and much of it could be culminating on Sunday night’s finale. After all, we’re finally going to arrive to Fiona’s wedding day, but in true show fashion you better believe that things are going to get crazy.

You see, we are talking about a world that Frank Gallagher is a part of. Any world that has that man at the center of the drama is a world where there is going to be a lot of chaos, and this particular finale is going to feature him showing up the church in a bad state, but a point he is trying to make. Maybe you can make the case that he is truly to protect his daughter through some of his actions, but we have a hard time believing that this is a move devoid of some sort of selfish limitation. We just know the guy too well at this point to think that he would do something without having something in it that could benefit himself.

“Season 6 ends with the arrival of Fiona’s wedding day. Debbie shows up at the church with Franny, and Frank arrives uninvited and high, and reveals that Sean is still a practicing junkie. Meanwhile, Ian brings Caleb to meet the family; and Sean tries to do everything he can to keep his son in his life.”

Given that the show has already been renewed for a season 7, you can watch it without being concerned over a cliffhanger. Rejoice to that!
