‘American Horror Story’ season 6: Angela Bassett hopeful for Lady Gaga return

Gaga -While Lady Gaga may have won a Golden Globe for her work on “American Horror Story: Hotel,” she has yet to make it clear what her intentions are beyond this season. We know that she is incredibly busy with her music career and everything else, but it seems as thought there’s still a chance that she could turn up again.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in a new interview, Gaga’s co-star on the show and regular scene partner in Angela Bassett had the following to say about the chances that we could eventually see a little bit more of the pop star on the show in the future:

“I hear, I think, perhaps that she’s out to return. She had a good time with us.”

The great thing about this franchise is that even in the event Gaga does not return in some sort of significant capacity, there’s certainly still a chance that she could come on and do an arc of a few episodes. This is something that Ryan Murphy has let Gabourey Sidibe and Lily Rabe do following their stints as regulars on the show. The same goes for Dylan McDermott, who was arguably the lead on the first season much in a way that Gaga was for “Hotel.”

We’re certainly fine if Gaga does end up returning for another season of the show, but what we’d want to see is her do something that is a little more against type. How about her play someone a little more shy and closed-off, as opposed to someone with the aesthetic of the Countess?
