‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: A further look at Megalyn EK’s Vixen!

Next week’s new episode of “Arrow” is clearly one that will have many orders of business. First and foremost, you have the issue of William and figuring out if there is a way to get Oliver’s child back safely. This obviously has to be a priority for him, and he’ll have to think more about hiding it from Felicity a little bit after the fact.

Of course, there is only so long that he is going to be able to avoid those conversations. They are going to be intense, and when the dust settles, we are not entirely sure that his engagement will survive. As a matter of fact, the flash-forward at the cemetery made it clear that at one point or another, things are going to fall apart.

Now, let’s move on to the next order of business, and that is what Oliver is going to do in order to ensure William’s safety. This is an unusual circumstance, and with that he is calling in someone with unusual powers in Vixen (Megalyn EK). Oliver already knows her thanks to his appearance on the CW Seed show “Vixen,” but we’re sure that there will be at least some sort of nod to that history over the course of this episode. Vixen has a unique animal-oriented ability, and it could prove to be rather important in this instance.

So while EK may only be here for a one-off appearance on “Arrow,” rest assured of one thing: The same does not go for any story surrounding her.
