‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 14 video: More on Zoom’s lair, Earth-2 Barry Allen’s mission

Leave it to “The Flash” to find a way to inject some humor into even some of the tensest / dramatic situations possible. Going into Tuesday night’s “Escape From Earth-2,” let’s do our best here to map out where everyone is.

1. Barry Allen is trapped within Zoom’s lair alongside Jesse and some masked character we’re not altogether familiar with at the moment. Maybe this is another hero, but it is a little too early to know for sure.

2. Cisco and Harry are still working to figure out how to not only rescue him, but see if there is a way to destroy Zoom once and for all.

In order for the latter to happen, they are going to have to rely on some familiar faces — namely, Barry and Iris from Earth-2. In this world, he is a masterful CSI tech while Iris just so happens to be a police officer in her own right. They may not have any powers, but executive producers Aaron and Todd Helbing make it very clear in the video below that they will be integral to resolving this case. After all, there are many reasons why these two are of great value. They’re smart, resourceful, and very motivated given that Earth-2 Joe is now dead.

As for who else they could rely on, is Killer Frost a possibility? It’s complicated for now, given that Zoom is responsible for Ronnie’s death, while at the same exact time we don’t exactly see her as the biggest fan of any of the heroes, either.
