‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: Meredith’s blast from the past; Arizona’s dating life

By the time that we get around to the March 3 episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” entitled “My Next Life,” we may seem Meredith somewhat back to her former self, working at the hospital and trying to make sure that her career continues to go in the right direction. After all, the only direction that this character knows how to move is forward given everything that she’s been through.

What may be especially interesting about this episode to some out there is that one of the biggest themes of the story is a particularly notable blast from Dr. Grey’s past, as someone is admitted to the hospital who she first worked on more than a decade ago. The synopsis below offers some more insight:

“A patient from Meredith’s very first surgery as an Intern is readmitted to Grey Sloan Memorial with a new aneurysm, and Amelia takes her case. Meanwhile, Maggie suspects that Richard knows about her relationship with Andrew, and Arizona debates dating again.”

Hooray to an Arizona story! It feels like it’s been a long while since we had one of those. Granted, one of the reasons for such an epic delay in more scoop on her is simply the fact that we’ve been forced to tackle so many other stories this season, including the status of Jackson / April (it’s not looking great so far), Riggs and his history with Owen, and also whether or not Alex and Jo can make their relationship go. It’s been a complicated season so far, and it’s not about to be any less so in the near future.
