‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 29 preview: ‘Girl Meets the Bay Window’ and the last before graduation

Girl Meets World -Tonight, “Girl Meets World” is going back in time in many ways to cover “Girl Meets Commonism,” an episode that, interestingly enough, is a remnant from earlier on this season. It’s not entirely clear why the show waited as long as they did in order to air it, but don’t expect too much from it other than a potentially fun hour of TV.

With that, for the sake of this article we’re ready to look ahead a little bit to “Girl Meets Bay Window,” the next new episode of the show airing in one week’s time. This episode was filmed much more recently (though before the “Girl Meets the New Year” episode that featured the latest movement on Riley, Farkle, Lucas, and Maya), and it is one that revolves of course around one of the show’s most iconic settings and also the friendship between Riley and Maya.

If you haven’t seen the short synopsis for this episode just yet, here it is: “Riley upsets Maya when she decides to redecorate their sacred space: her bay window.”

It’s not exactly the lengthiest synopsis in the world, but the objective here to us feels relatively simple: The show is trying to use this episode in order to harken back to a more specific time in Riley and Maya’s lives where things were not changing. This is the perfect precursor to middle-school graduation in “Girl Meets Legacy.” It’s a reminder that nothing in this world can stay one way forever, and these two have to prepare for some of the larger changes that are going to come. Really, the bay window is just the tip of the iceberg.
