ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8: New Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion photo, details on ‘The Blame Game’

We have to start this “Castle” article off with the following very-simple note: We really dig the photo above of Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion. It’s very cinematic, and we don’t typically get promotional photos for this show that are right in the thick of the action. Often, they’re more like stills.

This photo is from the upcoming February 22 installment entitled “The Blame Game,” one that we’re personally feeling right now is going to be a heck of a lot of fun to watch since it puts Beckett in a classic position of having to rescue her husband. For those who have missed getting to see a lot of big Beckett stories this season, this may be right up your alley!

Also, we’ve went ahead and enclosed the full synopsis for this installment right now in the event you haven’t seen it already:

“Castle is captured and forced to work with strangers to solve deranged puzzles and mind games, while Beckett and the 12th Precinct must race against time to rescue Castle and catch a killer, on “Castle,” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network. Amy Robach (“GMA”) guest stars as Lila Campo, a TV news producer.”

So where does this photo fit in with the episode’s timeline? It’s possible that it comes before he is rescue (though if that is the case, there’s some serious stuff going on even beforehand), but our likelier theory is that this is coming up after he eventually finds his way back out into the world and still needs to work with Beckett on trying to take down the bad guys … which is always fun when these two are together.
