‘American Idol 15’ results: Were Emily Brooke, Thomas Stringfellow, Sonika Vaid eliminated?

American Idol -Tonight, “American Idol” had what can be considered in some ways to be the first results show of the season, even if technically America was not deciding. Not only that, but this show was not live, meaning that we were forced to sit around and wait and see what the judges had to say at the end of the show. Was this ideal? Not exactly, and it must be painful for the singers, as well, to go through all of this without much of an idea of what the public thinks of them.

Luckily, we’re going to get some more news on the results soon (refresh for updates) … but we certainly imagine that there will be something in here that almost every viewer will not like.

Still with us? Okay, here we go…

The contestants who have made it through to the top 14 include Jeneve Rose Mitchell, MacKenzie Bourg, La’Porsha Renae, Thomas Stringfellow, Sonika Vaid, Avalon Young, and finally Gianna Isabella. What does this mean? Ultimately, we’ve lost Jordan Sasser, James VIII, Stephany Negrete, Emily Brooke, and Jenna Renae.

What’s our reaction to these? For the most part, “meh.” We agree for the most part on them, other than that we would have probably taken out Gianna and put in there Stephany, who really rose to the occasion during the duets. Losing Emily is understandable given the performance on Wednesday, but a few weeks ago we would’ve told you that she was a favorite to win the entire competition.
