‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9 spoilers: Who’s holding a Valentine’s Day secret?

There is a new episode of “The Big Bang Theory” now airing in a mere matter of hours, and all indications seem to further suggest that there are some key revelations ahead. It’s been teased ever since Super Bowl Weekend that a huge secret will be dropped in this episode, and we now know who is the carried of said secret.

Want to be completely in the dark before Thursday’s episode airs? Then our suggestion is that you stop reading now.

Still with us? Then know this: The person keeping the big-time secret is none other than Bernadette! This comes courtesy of TV Guide, and it’s starting to feel at least reasonably obvious what this secret could be. Do we really even have to write in this article? It’s possible the show will dupe us into a false sense of security, but the evidence is there in a couple of different ways:

1. The show hasn’t rushed into telling this particular story for Howard and Bernadette, allowing them to have some as a married couple exploring what that means. Also, Howard mourning the loss of his mother required a little bit of time.

2. Also, we had the “empty nest” storyline recently when Stuart announced that he was moving out, and Bernadette started to realize that, despite his wide array of flaws / general creepiness, there was a part of her who really missed having him present in their lives.

We’ll see if the theories turn out to be true here; for now, what we’ve seen in the official sneak peek for this episode is that these two are going to find a rat in their hot tub. We’re not entirely sure just how this story will be leaked to the reveal of the secret later. We suppose that finding that out is a part of the fun.
