‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Lauren Bushnell, Ben Higgins date in his hometown

At this given point in time, it feels fairly obvious to us that Lauren Bushnell is a personal favorite of Ben Higgins’ on “The Bachelor.” She’s already had one date with him, she’s getting another on Monday night’s new episode, and it doesn’t seem as though Leah Block’s complaints over here behavior in the house have really registered. (To be fair, we still have no clue what Leah was up to, given we haven’t seen evidence at all that Lauren is terrible to deal with.)

The synopsis below details specifically what the next one-on-one between Lauren and Ben is going to be like in his hometown of Warsaw, Indiana, and it at least appears that some of Leah’s comments are at least reasonably weighing on his mind:

“Lauren B. accompanies Ben to a local youth center where he spent a lot of time volunteering when he was younger. The couple shoots baskets with the kids, but when Indiana Pacers’ superstar George Paul and more of his popular teammates pay a surprise visit to the center to face off with the young hoopsters, they take the excitement to another level. Still Ben needs Lauren B. to answer some serious allegations that Leah shared with him. Will she be able to right the ship?”

If we had to create an argument as to why Leah said what she said, our guess is that they didn’t get along, and to go along with that, Leah was upset over not getting a one-on-one while Lauren was a clear favorite. Therefore, she probably wanted to, consciously or unconsciously, lower her stock in Ben’s eyes. Obviously, it didn’t work, and she’s now sitting at home. (Technically, she’s been at home for months since that is when the show filmed — but you know what we mean.)
