‘The Flash’ season 2: Killer Frost takes center stage in new poster!

Killer Frost -

There have been few villains on “The Flash” that have generated the sort of attention that Killer Frost has. She’s a notorious character in the comic books, and it’s certainly helped that this is someone we’ve known to be coming on the show ever since Caitlin Snow was announced as a character.

The official poster below from The CW is a pretty awesome look at the character (played by Danielle Panabaker), and it gives us even more hope that the producers know precisely how excited everyone is to see her in action. Do we still have some issues? Certainly. We wish that it was Earth-1 Caitlin who was becoming the villain rather than her Earth-2 Doppelganger, since there’s probably only so much time we’re going to see her this way and it feels like a little bit of a cop-out.

Then again, who says that Earth-1 Caitlin won’t eventually become Killer Frost in her own right? There have been different versions of the characters, and not all of them are evil because they want to be; sometimes, we’ve seen her kill out of self-preservation, and there could be something interesting that comes with Caitlin being in a position where she suddenly has powers, and knows how she uses / abuses them over on Earth-2. Maybe she tries to do something different with them this time around, but still feels some of those temptations rearing their head … especially if there are certain things she needs to survive.

Yes, we know that we’re getting far from the point here. Earth-2 Caitlin on Tuesday will surface alongside Deathstorm (Robbie Amell), and these two could get in the way of our Earth-1 heroes’ attempts to find Zoom and bring the battle to him for a change.
