Super Bowl 50 drama: Did Peyton Manning create instant Budweiser commercial with speech?

Super Bowl -There’s some drama following the Super Bowl this year, and this time around, it has little to do with anything related to football itself.

The internet is running rampant over the following question: Was Peyton Manning paid to endorse Budweiser during his speech after winning the game with the Denver Broncos? This is someone who does have a rather extensive library of TV commercials under his belt, and with that in mind we understand why some of the theories are out there.

However, the company and many of its represents are already doing almost everything that they can in order to deny the talk. You can see the tweet below from Lisa Weser, a woman who would certainly know when you look at her credentials with Budweiser and its parent company. There is talk online about Manning owning some distributors, but we don’t really think that his comments really had anything to do with that at all.

Trust us: We love a conspiracy as much as the next guy, but in this case we just think that he was someone who really wanted a drink after everything that he went through in the game. If that’s just his drink of choice, that’s his drink of choice. We just hope that there are a ton of people calling Helen Mirren at the end of the night. (If you missed it, she starred in a Super Bowl ad telling off anyone who drives drunk.)
