‘Black Sails’ season 3, episode 4 preview: New enemies, new standings

So far on “Black Sails” season 3, we’ve had a chance to see everything from literal storms to figurative storms, with many of them swirling around inside the head of Captain Flint. He’s a man who has become obsessed with his own despair, but perhaps we started to see a grand turnaround for him tonight when he broke down in tears and also saw a glimmer of hope for his people: Land. Their time lost at sea may be over!

Of course, this is a show where struggle is a part of its M.O., and with that you have to remember that there is naturally only so long that characters are going to be out of the woods. The next new episode will revolve in part around the next move for some of his crew, and you can see the synopsis below via TV Guide:

“Flint, Silver and Billy square off against a new enemy; civilization returns to Nassau, and puts Vane in its crosshairs; Rackham makes a stand against the crew; and Scott finds a place with the new regime.”

Will there be some semblance of peace, and what will Blackbeard do next to make his mark on the series? There are many important questions still ahead, and this is something that we look forward to getting some more information on in due time. Hopefully, Starz will accelerate that process by releasing some other sneak peeks / promos over the course of the coming days. We’ll have more news as it happens.
