‘The X Factor’ UK not planning any breaks, will likely stand pat with ‘Britain’s Got Talent’

The latest news -The true nature of this story is something that should not be a surprise to anyone out there at the moment: There are rumors currently running rampant about whether or not “The X Factor” UK as a series can go on past 2016. What’s the reason for that? Low ratings, coupled with a decline overall in the singing-show genre as something that is either relevant or interesting. Simon Cowell has made mountains of money thanks to doing the show, but at the same time there has to come a time for him and everyone else to realize that maybe they are better off trying to push forward into something else.

Is that time now? Well, they don’t think so. Per the Telegraph, a source claims here that there will be no ending the show after this year, and even if ITV did decide for whatever reason that they did not want to pick the show up for more episodes, the producers would be able to find another home elsewhere. The show generates decent ratings still compared to other competition shows that are airing in the country, and at the same exact time it also has good advertising revenue.

In the end, consider this to be just one of many of the latest British press rumors regarding the singing show. For the most part, it’s a recurring theme all about kicking the series whenever some viewers have fallen by the wayside. It’s not a smash like it once was, but it is far and away stronger than many other shows on the air.
