‘Elementary’ season 4, episode 12 preview: ‘A View with a Room’

ElementaryElementary” season 4 has been spending much of the new year playing catch-up so far when it comes to its episode count. After all, the show premiered significantly later than almost anything else on CBS thanks to NFL programming, and given that it has a 24-episode order, there’s a heck of a lot still to get through.

Luckily, next week’s “A View with a Room” (apparently, entitling it “A Room with a View” would not have been anywhere near as much fun) is looking to potentially bring some more excitement to the table. We’ve got an undercover mission for one, and to go along with that there’s also the return of a collaboration for Watson. The synopsis below makes things all a little bit clearer:

“Captain Gregson’s colleague from Narcotics asks Holmes to orchestrate the perfect heist inside the heavily armed and virtually impenetrable compound of a drug-dealing biker gang. Also, when Watson assists Fiona Helbron (Betty Gilpin), who helped her on a recent case, she makes a surprising discovery about Holmes.”

Part of the fun of this episode, at least we presume, is going to be seeing the tables turn at least somewhat when it comes to these characters. Typically Holmes is the person responsible for solving crimes, but given his knowledge of deductive reasoning and figuring out plots down to the last inch, you have to figure that he’d also be a pretty amazing crime boss. This is something that this episode will probably investigate somewhat if he can work his way into this compound without too much of a problem.
