‘Outlander’ season 2 video: Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe answer fan questions!

The second season of “Outlander” will not be premiering on Stars until this April, but that is not stopping series stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe from sitting down to answer some new questions from fans while you wait!

You can see the full video featuring the two actors below, and it’s got a few funny moments. For example, are you curious about why some of the horses on location prefer Cait over Sam? He’s got an answer for you! The same goes for what it is like filming during the harsh Scottish winter. Let’s just say that there are times when it it is not easy to handle…

The cast is now in the process of wrapping up season 2 production in advance of the show’s premiere; once they finish up, they should get a nice little break prior to the inevitable start of season 3. Starz has not officially issued a renewal just yet, but in our mind we consider it almost a sure thing. Not only does the series generate strong ratings, but there’s also awards buzz that led to Golden Globe nominations for Cait, Tobias Menzies, and the series itself.

Given that we are still a couple of months at least from the premiere, we imagine that Starz has some more goodies up their sleeve still. Few networks do more to help their fans get through a lengthy hiatus than they do … and this especially has been a rather long one when you consider when the season 1 finale aired.
