‘The Blacklist’ season 3, episode 13 preview: Tony Shalhoub and Tom Keen’s blast from the past

There’s a lot to be interested in when it comes to “The Blacklist” on NBC next week. For one, we’re getting a chance to see the return of Gina Zanetakos into the mix, a woman who Tom Keen certainly has a lot of history with. How will she shake up this world? It should be interesting when you consider the circumstances. Liz is heavily considering giving up her child, and she doesn’t seem as interested potentially in running away with him as she once did.

Just in case that wasn’t enough to be intrigued about, former “Monk” star Tony Shalhoub is also going to be appearing as the Matchmaker, one of the more mysterious and dangerous Blacklisters out there. He is a man whose power is not so much causing violence himself, but putting other people in a position where they can cause some chaos instead.

The synopsis below gives you at least a little more information, while the promo hypes up some of the chaos and romance that will unfold:

“Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) work with the taskforce to stop a negotiator who has resurfaced to unite two rival crime families. Tom (Ryan Eggold) reconnects with a former flame. Tony Shalhoub and Margarita Levieva guest star.”

Suffice it to say, this is going to be one messy pregnancy for Liz as she continues to have to deal with all of this. We don’t think it is necessarily set in stone that she is giving up her child, so we’ll just have to see what lies in store for her in the weeks ahead.
