‘Supernatural’ season 11, episode 12 preview: Who’s becoming a hunter now?

Supernatural -

If there is one thing we’ve seen on “Supernatural” over the years, it is this: Sam and Dean Winchester have this habit of rubbing off on other people. They manage to complete their missions time and time again, while inspiring people whether purposefully or not to become hunters in their stead.

Is this something that we could see out of either Claire or Alex on next week’s new episode? It certainly sounds like it could at least be a possibility, based on the promo and the official synopsis that was just released via The CW for what comes next:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) drop in on Jody Mills (guest star Kim Rhodes), Claire (guest star Kathryn Newton) and Alex (guest star Katherine Ramdine) after receiving a panicked phone call from Claire. She believes the recent murders in town are supernatural and wants the boys’ help. However, Sheriff Mills tells Sam and Dean that Claire has been getting into trouble lately as she’s been attacking normal people and accusing them of being monsters.”

Now, it’s great to have aspirations; however, it’s even better to have ones that do not get you killed at the end of the day. The one thing that we know at the moment is that female characters on the show does not have the best track record, and the same goes for ones that decide to pick up the mantel of “hunter.” For example, you should just look at what happened to Charlie during season 10. We’re still not over that.
