‘Game of Thrones’ season 6: Kit Harington continues to be super-coy on Jon Snow’s return

Jon -If nothing else, HBO should praise some of the cast of “Game of Thrones” for being loyal throughout the waiting until season 6. They’ve got a narrative, and they’re sticking to it no matter where they are asked.

In the case of Kit Harington, he probably has this down pat more than anyone else, given that he probably cannot go anywhere at the moment without being asked what happens to his character of Jon Snow. He appeared on the BBC “Breakfast” show this week, and of course gave them the show spiel when asked about Jon’s fate after being stabbed by all of the Night’s Watch men + the oh-so terribly Olly:

“I think anyone who wants to know what happens in season 6 has to wait … All I can tell you is Jon Snow is dead, he died at the end of last season.”

Harington did say that it was going to be an “exciting season,” before going on to claim that this is what he has been “led to believe.” Obviously, the man is covering his tracks and who could blame him? We’re pretty sure that if too much information got out about this season, HBO executives would come at him yelling “for the watch.”

Season 6 is going to be premiering on Sunday, April 24, a later start prompted by both “Girls” starting later and also more time for George R.R. Martin to finish his next book The Winds of Winter. Unfortunately, the book will not be out before season 6, which was at one point the plan.
