‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: A rock take on ‘Roneo & Juliet’ and much more

Fosters -

The remainder of the third season of “The Fosters” is likely going to contain quiet a few stories about complicated romances, and when you think about that, isn’t it ultimately appropriate that the show gives you its own version of “Romeo & Juliet”?

While we’re not entirely sure this is going to happen just yet on the series, the synopsis for the upcoming February 8 episode entitled “If and When” certainly makes it clear that Brandon and Mat are going to be creatively inspired to make a musical about the Shakespearean work … with a slight twist. take a look at the attached synopsis for more:

“Callie is surprised to find that Jude is spending time with Jack, a quirky foster teen they met at a foster youth event. Brandon and Mat decide to write a Romeo & Juliet rock musical as their senior thesis project, but they disagree over who should play Juliet. Meanwhile, Jesus asks Ana about the identity of his and Mariana’s birth father.”

One thing that is already nice to see is that the show will not be shying away from including the new Jesus as much as possible in the early going this winter, given that Jake T. Austin is no longer playing the part. It’s ironic that we mention his name here in some ways given all of the headlines that are out there right now about him dating someone who has been a big fan of his for a rather long time.
