‘The Blacklist’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Will the real Reddington please stand up?

The Blacklist logo any season“The Blacklist” on Thursday finally uncorked part of the story that we’ve been following all season long, and that is a journey to figure out whether or not Liz Keen can ever be a free woman again. With that being said, you had to know that there was going to be more trouble awaiting her no matter if she was freed or not… and you’ll see some of that on the show next week as she begins to adjust to life again.

Before we do anything else, let’s pose the same question as the promo below: If he isn’t the real Raymond Reddington then who exactly is he? Has James Spader been playing a faux-Reddington all this time and if he has been then what for? There have been some pretty serious twists on this show (“The Blacklist” has never been afraid to take big risks), but this would be a huge one to suddenly make all of the viewers entirely re-imagine this character as who he really is. As is typical with this show, we imagine so much more is going on with this premise since nothing is as it seems.

Next week’s new episode is entitled “Mr. Gregory Devry,” and you can see the synopsis for it in full below:

“With her name finally cleared, Liz (Megan Boone) attempts to reclaim her former life. Red (James Spader) works with the task force to infiltrate an assembly of high-level criminals at large in a rare, risky opportunity to capture the heads of the world’s most lethal organized crime syndicates.”

Also, let it be known that just because Liz is out of her current situation does not mean that the surprises and life changes will stop (it’s not like she got out of this without a little blood on her hands). There are some more key events coming over the next few episodes that should set the course as to where we are going the rest of the season.
