‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: Matt Nable to appear as Ra’s al Ghul

LegendsJust because Ra’s al Ghul may be gone in the “Arrow” world (or at least the incarnation that was last around in season 3), that doesn’t mean that he has no further role in the universe at all.

As first reported by ComicBook.com, Matt Nable will reprise his role as the iconic villain on at least one episode of DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow,” which is premiering on the CW January 21. Given the premise of this series, which involves traveling through time in the hunt to stop Vandal Savage from destroying / controlling the world, it really opens the door for anyone who has appeared on “Arrow” or “The Flash” to show back up in some form.

We’re glad to see more Nable, mostly because we feel like he gets unfortunately the blunt of a storyline that we don’t think was really his fault. His Ra’s al Ghul was compelling and crafty, but the story around him was so depressing for many fans that it turned some viewers off on Nanda Parbat. This is a way to get a little of redemption, and hopefully kick a little bit of butt in the process.

We know that many “Arrow” / “The Flash” actors will appear on the series, in addition to of course the likes of Caity Lotz, Victor Garber, and Brandon Routh. Carlos Valdes is going to be appearing on at least one occasion as Cisco Ramon (though at what point in the timeline remains to be seen), and we’ve already heard that Neal McDonough is also going to be turning up as Damien Darhk. Can we get him and Ra’s in a scene? We already know of their history together.
