‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: First details on Ben Higgins’ premiere!
While we do still have many more editions of our “Bachelor” spotlight series to go through, we don’t want that to get in the way of sharing some of the first information that we have regarding the first episode!
Before we get to that, let’s start by bringing up the cast photo above. How tall is Ben Higgins? Our guess is around 6’4” or 6’5”, since he looks a full foot taller than all of the other women in this photo. We didn’t even realize that he was a tall guy until literally the moment that we opened this photo up for the first time.
Now, the synopsis below gives us a sense as to how the first night is going to go:
“One by one, the gorgeous bachelorettes are prepared to make a lasting first impression. One woman reveals she is friends with Kaitlyn. Ben does a double take as another striking lady stands outside the limo – and is joined by her identical twin sister. A stunner makes a bold move and goes in for a kiss that Ben won’t soon forget. A woman with a companion – a mini-horse – gets invited inside the mansion. One woman is so nervous that she forgets to tell Ben her name.
“Once inside the mansion, the party really gets started. No sooner does Ben start to welcome the women than one determined dentist steals him away for a private exam. But two last-minute arrivals turn the party upside down. Another bold bachelorette decides to plant the first real kiss of the night on Ben with surprising results. Finally, Ben offers the coveted first-impression rose to one stunned woman who never expected to receive it.”
Here are our quick snap-judgments:
1. Does someone try to make these deliberately more and more corny every year? With all the words liked “stunned woman” and “striking lady,” it reminds you that whoever writes these is obsessed with adjectives.
2. As far as hints, the two “last-minute arrivals” are of course Becca and Amber from Chris Soules’ season more than likely.
3. Why would anyone want to give Ben an “exam” on the first night? Do we blame it on the alcohol, the producers, or this person actually thinking that this is a good idea.
