‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ episode 11 preview: Air date, a big return during ‘Battle Royale’

Tonight, “American Horror Story: Hotel” came to a close for 2015 with “She Gets Revenge,” an episode that was all sorts of weird and wacky. Was it at least fun here and there? Sure, and it does have that to fall back on.

When the show returns on January 6 we’re going to see the aftermath of the shootout with Iris and Liz Taylor, and to go along with that we’ve got the return of a popular former cast member in Gabourey Sidibe. Is she coming back as her “Coven” character of Queenie? While we know that she is still alive, we didn’t necessarily see 100% proof that this is the character she is playing. We just want to assume that it is because Queenie is great television. Cheers to Ryan Murphy for getting Sidibe back, even though she is rather busy these days thanks to being a regular on “Empire.”

“Ramona draws vitality from an unlikely source. Sally uses her past to negotiate her future. Scarlett learns the truth of her family’s affliction.”

Ultimately, there’s going to be a lot that happens here, which does make some sense given that we are moving straight from this episode to the finale on the 13th. This is a shorter season this time around, and we’re not entirely sure as to the reason why. Ultimately, we’re just hoping that it ends with some fireworks and reasons to celebrate, especially since it has been so inconsistent to date.
