‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: The Geomancer cometh

FlashThe Flash” has done a tremendous job over the years incorporating as many different interesting characters as possible from the DC universe, and the latest news that we have for you today is proof that they are not even close to stopping.

According to ComicBook.com, Adam Stafford has been cast to appear in at least two episodes of the CW sensation in the role of Adam Fells, otherwise known as the classic villain Geomancer. This is someone who fought the Justice League in the comments, and here has some of the power to trigger massive earthquakes. This could prove problematic to Barry Allen, since he won’t be able to travel around in the same way he is typically used to. Is he going to be fast enough to handle ground that is constantly shifting? He is to the earth what the Weather Wizard is in many ways to the sky.

For the time being, the specific connections between this particular foe and Zoom are unclear, but it is easy to guess that this is someone else sent over by the season 2 Big Bad to challenge Barry, and force him to realize that he needs to improve his speed abilities. This is all a part of his own sadistic master plan to sap as much speed force from The Flash as possible after he kills him. Isn’t Zoom a simple villain that way? He really doesn’t have any goal other than just being the one with the most power.

“The Flash” returns to The CW on Tuesday, January 19. Stay tuned for more!
