‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7, episode 11 reaction: Did Deeks tell Kensi his secret?

Last week’s episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” surprised us when they actually introduced a big twist in the backstory of Marty Deeks: He actually was guilty of being a killer. However, his intentions were not exactly malicious. He wanted to protect Tiffany, and everything that he did was with that in mind.

During tonight’s episode, we came around to the next challenge: Figuring a way out to inform Kensi of what actually happened. He thought she would be far angrier over it than she was, and that may be because she already figured it out for herself. Does this make her doubt their relationship? Maybe not yet, but if this becomes a pattern, there could be a little bit of trouble in paradise for the two.

Later, Deeks and Kensi were actually front and center for our favorite moment of the episode, as we saw Deeks take down a criminal while sporting a Santa suit. Completely ridiculous, but also completely fun and in the spirit of an episode that had Callen conducted one of the strangest interrogations that we’ve seen on the show to date.

There were some fun moments throughout this episode, but also a little bit of romance to go along with it even beyond Kensi and Deeks. For example, take a look at Callen! By the end of the episode the characters also seemed to come up with a perfect way to handle their family easier over the holiday break.

We’re not going to say that the show went out with any sort of a bang tonight, but at least they told a story packed with holiday cheer that really makes us want it to be December 25 already.
