‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7, episode 12 preview: Return date for ‘Core Values’

Following tonight’s midseason finale of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” we would definitely understand if you had a thirst for some more story on the show. Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait for at least a little while.

The good news is that compared to many other shows that are on network TV, this one is actually returning rather early. Specifically, we’re talking about Monday, January 4 with an installment entitled “Core Values.” there is not much out there right now when it comes to this story, but we would envision that it will contain some sort of strong standalone mystery. Winter premieres are not typically the biggest episode of the year. (Also, we figure that they are going to have a hard time topping Deeks arresting someone in a Santa suit.)

In terms of cliffhangers moving into the second part of the season, there really isn’t much. All we hope for is a few more twists and turns, and maybe some big change that we don’t see coming similar to Deeks’ history over the course of the past several episodes.

As for when CBS could release more information about the show’s return, we’d be shocked if they didn’t announce something more before we got to the Christmas break. Unfortunately, we don’t have it for you just yet, and the network is not all to keen in putting out promos so far in advance. Stay tuned…
