‘Girl Meets World’ season 2 spoilers: Don’t expect quick resolution on Riley, Lucas, Maya

At the moment, there is one major elephant in the room when it comes to “Girl Meets World“: The love triangle. Riley has feelings for Lucas, while Maya has established that she clearly feels the same way to a certain extent. Lucas is in the middle, and this is confusing for him given that all three of them are very good friends. Nobody wants to make a move that will in turn hurt someone’s feelings or damage a bond. Maya and Riley have been friends for such a long time that you don’t want to see anything happen to them.

If there is one big of solace we can give you moving into the final five episodes in the new year, it is that there is not going to be some flash-in-a-pan conclusion to this story where everything is tied together neatly. In a post on Twitter (see below), the show’s official writers room made it clear that this is “much more than a triangle,” and a story that began all the way in the pilot episode.

Therefore, don’t be surprised if the story for these three characters continues well into the third season, which we know is currently being written. filming for the show will probably begin again a couple of months into 2016, with it premiering likely in late spring / early summer. We could be wrong, but why wouldn’t the series follow the same trajectory that it has for the second season?
