‘Major Crimes’ season 4 spoilers: An unfortunate reveal for Rusty

Major Crimes -The fourth season of “Major Crimes” has put a few stories on a slow burn, which for the most part, we’re okay with for one simple reason: It at least gives us something to talk about beyond the standard case of the week.

For the most part, these cases can be compartmentalized into two simple categories: Flynn’s recovery from his injury, and then also Rusty trying to know and understand Slider better. Both of these stories are going to be front and center on the December 7 episode entitled “Thick As Thieves,” and you can read the synopsis for it below:

“With Flynn on desk duty as he recovers from injuries, Sharon and the team investigate the murder of a fugitive diamond thief whose body was found by his bail bondsmen. Rusty is put in a tight spot when his relationship with Slider is discovered by Marianna’s brother.”

Given how much trouble Rusty went through in order to figure out what happened to Marianna, we can certainly understand it being a little bit awkward for him if her brother started to realize just the extent of what he has been doing now with Slider. We know that there is a method and a motive to what he is doing, this is a morally complex, difficult situation.

As for the story with Flynn, let’s just say that we are hoping for now that he finds himself on better footing by the time we make it to the end of this season.
