‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Louisa Johnson, 4th Impact, Che Chesterman songs chosen by judges

The latest news -There are two performances coming on “The X Factor” UK on Saturday, and what is interesting is that the contestants really are not getting much of a chance to show off their power of choice on either one of them! As you may know at this point, the first song was chosen by Twitter; meanwhile, the second was selected by the judges.

Before we get into the judges’ choices and some of our take on them, head over here if you want to see the Jukebox selections from the fans.

Che Chesterman, “Try a Little Tenderness” – Sure, it’s a great song and one of the most well-known of a particular generation, but couldn’t Che do something even more upbeat, or a little more unexpected?

Louisa Johnson, “Jealous” – This was a song already on the list for Twitter to vote on, so it’s hardly that original a choice by Rita. We almost would’ve felt better if she chose a song that was not transformed by Josh Daniel’s audition. We’re not sure that a moment like that will be replicated.

Reggie ‘n Bollie, “Dynamite” -Perfect song for the two of them. It won’t expose their vocals and they can turn it into yet another fun, upbeat song to get the crowd into what they’re doing. We do wonder at times if they are doing too much of one thing, but they do that one thing really well!

4th Impact, “Fancy Rich Girl” – Basically, it’s a mash-up of songs by Iggy Azalea and Gwen Stefani. It could be a lot of fun! It’s also right in their wheelhouse of big pop songs that show off everything from rip to big notes.

Lauren Murray, “You Don’t Own Me” – It’s a very new song, and admittedly one that we don’t even really know other than the parts that are mashed up with a former classic. Then again, we didn’t know “One Last Time,” and Lauren completely killed that. We’re reserving judgment here for now.
