‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 9 video: Alicia and Jason’s latest issue

Is Alicia Florrick okay with Jason working for Diane Lockhart? This is one of the questions at the center of the sneak peek below for Sunday night’s new episode of “The Good Wife.”

The subject matter here revolves all around the arrangement that Jason has with Alicia and Lucca Quinn as an investigator. They decided that for the purpose of freedom and keeping his rate low, he would be someone that they continue to hire as a freelancer. However, in doing so they allow him to take other jobs, and that includes working with Lockhart and Cary Agos. Jason approaches Alicia with this in the sneak peek, and wants to ensure that she is okay with the arrangement that they have over rather than figuring out a way to shake things up. She claims that she is, and they can continue working together without a problem.

What Alicia does not know, however, is that someone overhears and sees much of this conversation in Ruth, who comes from a very particular place thanks to her job: She wants to ensure that Peter gets elected, really using whatever means necessary. Do you think that she is really going to be altogether pleased to see Alicia looking so flirty with a man not her husband? It’s a problem to her, and for much of the next episode or two, she is going to push and dig even further to uncover what is really taking place here.
