‘Elementary’ season 4, episode 4 video: Hiding in plain sight

ElementaryWhile the majority of primetime television is going to be more than a little augmented on Thursday thanks to it being Thanksgiving, there will be a few things that are still the same. Take, for example, the presence of “Elementary” in the lineup.

So why in the world is the Jonny Lee Miller series airing a new episode? As we’ve said in the past, much of it likely has to do with the fact that the show has to air so many episodes a season, and with it starting so late they have to find a way to fill in some of the cracks. Also, the ratings didn’t take too much of a hit when the show aired on turkey day last year.

In the sneak peek below, you can get a sense at just what sort of case Holmes and Watson are going to be contending with in the first place. The most notable facet of it to us comes simply courtesy of the body: It’s a skeleton. Someone call in Booth and Brennan! Seriously, what seems to be happening here is almost that a dead body is being hidden in plain sight, since the last thing that anyone would expect would be a skeleton in a lab belonging to a murder victim.

We will be back later tonight with some more news related to “Elementary,” including a preview for the next new episode. Stay tuned, and let’s hope for a great new episode!
