How ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice will spend Thanksgiving

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” has not really had a whole lot of air time in 2015, but there is a major reason for that: Teresa Giudice is behind bars serving out a prison sentence. While there are other people on the show who are integral components to it, she is the biggest star and if they were just running a consistent stream of episodes, we have to think that everyone would just by talking about it like the massive elephant in the room that it is.

These holidays like Thanksgiving are the sort of things we do tend to see on the show much of the time; unfortunately, things have certainly changed for Teresa this time around. As a source tells People Magazine, she specifically is preparing now to ring in the holiday behind bars, and is trying to not make things chaotic for her daughters or the rest of her family:

“Teresa wants Thanksgiving to be as normal as possible for the girls … She just wants the girls to have a good day.”

The site does report that the plan right now is for Teresa to get out of prison on December 23, so she may actually be able to spend the holidays with her family. As for her future on the Bravo series, we’re still pretty confident that she has one. After all, it wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense for the network to be committed to her now and then for something to come up later that changes that to a big degree.

For now, though, let’s just hope that her children and her family have a nice Thanksgiving holiday one way or another.
