‘Supergirl’ episode 6 preview: Prepare for Kara versus Red Tornado

For those of you who enjoy seeing significant comic-book characters making their presence felt on “Supergirl,” odds are that you will appreciate the next new episode airing on CBS in a week’s time. Why is that? Let’s just say that we are bringing a certain Red Tornado into the mix! He is an iconic DC Comics character, and while he has been heroic in some instances, in next week’s “Red Faced” you better prepare to see a little bit of a darker side of the character.

“Personal and professional stress get the better of Kara when she goes too far during a training exercise against Red Tornado, a military cyborg commissioned by Lucy Lane’s father, General Sam Lane. Also, Cat’s tough exterior is shaken by a visit from her judgmental mother, Katherine, and Alex enlists Winn to look into her father’s mysterious death.”

Given all of the appearances that Lucy and Sam Lane are making on this show, wouldn’t you want to believe that Lois would be turning up at some point? If only, since the show seems to be a little bit more intent at the moment on giving you reminders that they are out there and that’s it. Their hands are tied for the most part thanks to DC Entertainment and their rampant fear that having the same characters in multiple universe will somehow ruin everything. The horror!
