NBC’s ‘The Voice’ spoilers: What Madi Davis, Amy Vachal, Braiden Sunshine, top 11 are singing

VoiceThe top 11 performance show is coming on “The Voice” Monday night, but before we get around to it airing we’re proud to be back fulfilling our weekly duty of discussing song spoilers in advance of the competition starting up.

This time around, we’ve yet again got a pretty good mix of songs for the contestants to take on. There’s a mixture in here of standards, rock classics, country songs, and a few we’re not that familiar with. We’ve had to do a little bit of research this time around.

Jordan Smith (Team Adam), “Who You Are” – He’ll sell a ton of iTunes singles with this, and may even get the attention of Jessie J.

Shelby Brown (Team Adam), “You and I” – Probably the Lady Gaga song, which has a nice country feel to it. Probably a good choice.

Amy Vachal (Team Adam), “Blank Space” – If she can make it different than the original, this could be right up there with “Hotline Bling.” Very popular song.

Emily Ann Roberts (Team Blake), “Why Not Me” – If you are doing a song by the Judds, you are playing really into the country crowd. For her sake, here’s to hoping that they respond in the desired way.

Zach Seabaugh (Team Blake), “Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not” – Hey, it’s a country song we’ve heard of! Very current and should play well.

Barrett Baber (Team Blake), “Delta Dawn” – There’s country and a little soul in here. Plus, it’s got a religious message that plays well to many voters.

Jeffery Austin (Team Gwen), “Dancing on My Own” – Love the song. If it is anything like the rendition below he will have ALL THE VOTES.

Korin Bukowski (Team Gwen), “Only Hope” – A Mandy Moore song? File this one under “unexpected.” Hopefully, it will still deliver on the entertainment.

Braiden Sunshine (Team Gwen), “True” – Going for the “awws” from the voters. This song’s a little cheesy, but nostalgic.

Madi Davis (Team Pharrell), “Love is Blindness” – Look, Pharrell and an artist are doing a bold song! That’s a nice change.

Evan McKeel (Team Pharrell), “Smile” – Not the most original choice of all time, but it’s at least familiar.
