‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 7 reaction: Steven Yeun on Glenn’s fate

Glenn -After weeks of hiding, Steven Yeun can finally breathe some fresh air once again: The fate of Glenn on “The Walking Dead” has been addressed. This had to be a rough little while for him, and the actor even confirmed as much on “Talking Dead” tonight.

Yeun started things off by saying that he did not leave the house much in the time since his character “died” during the episode “Thank You,” but it pleased him to see that so many people cared so much about his character:

“I feel relieved. I feel very grateful. I feel so amazed at the response. I feel bad that I couldn’t say anything to everyone and family and friends; I’m pretty sure I’ve lost friendships along the way, but yeah, it’s kind of been overwhelming. I didn’t even really know how to take it.”

Hopefully, Glenn is now going to get a second chance now to spend time with everyone that he loves and live in that moment … though the hard thing is that there may not be that much of an opportunity for him to have these bonding moments moving forward here. You have to remember the tail end of the episode and what that featured: A horde of zombies coming into Alexandria. The city’s protection is breaking down, and it would not be altogether stunning if we are mourning some other deaths in the near future. We will have a little more on that tomorrow, but we presume that now is the time to breathe a little easier.
