‘The X Factor’ UK results preview: Will Anton Stephans, Che Chesterman, Reggie ‘n Bollie be eliminated?
Because of the extremely-rushed way that “The X Factor” is getting rid of people this season, it feels almost like the results of this weekend’s show are one of the biggest cuts of all. It really feels like we just started the live shows, and yet we are about to cut down the list to just five acts competing for the grand prize.
Yesterday, Mason Noise was sent home in seventh place; so, who is set to join him? Anton Stephans is probably the clear choice. He has been in the bottom before, he had that back-and-forth with Nick Grimshaw in the last show, and he is the most dated of the performers left. It feels to us almost assured that now is the time that he goes. He’ll still be on the tour, so he will still have a chance to have his personality shine through on that.
As for who else could in theory be a candidate, Che Chesterman performed early in the show, and that is not always a great indication of safety the next night. Lauren Murray was off slightly versus the previous week, and if 4th Impact doesn’t have the following that we perceive they do online, they could be in trouble now. Reggie ‘n Bollie could even have some issues, even though they got prime real estate on the show.
The one person we’re considering for-sure safe right now is Louisa Johnson, which probably means in turn that she is going to be heading home. Our only concern is that she is promoted so much that people start to reject her.
