‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ episode 7 ratings: The bleeding finally stops

AHSFor those out there who have been closely following the ratings for “American Horror Story: Hotel,” we come bearing a gift: Good news about the ratings for a change.

For the first time all season long, the show held firm versus the week before Wednesday, generating a 1.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic. This means that we may now have the point in which the show’s numbers are going to level off until at least the midseason finale, and the network can start to breathe a little easy the next few weeks.

Has the show seen better numbers? Of course, but it is hard to sit here and imagine that anyone over at FX is throwing fits over the fact that the series is performing significantly better than the majority of their other programming. It is also a complete slam-dunk to be renewed, so there is not any cause for concern there. The biggest thing that fans can do right now is just enjoy the show and continue to watch live if they want to keep things from falling further.

We have now made it past the halfway point, and if there is any problem spot commercially coming, we’d say it is in the weeks moving into the finale in January. After the holiday hiatus, there is always a challenge in educating viewers, and making sure that they are all very much aware that the show is on. Of course, we’ll continue to do our part to have further news every step of the way.
