‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 9 video: Robin Lord Taylor on Oswald – Nygma scenes

Monday night’s “Gotham” certainly has all of the makings of being a tremendously awesome episode of TV. You’ve got a chance to see the aftermath of the craziness with Barbara and Lee Thompkins, Jim Gordon continuing to balance the darkness and the light, and of course the opportunity to see what happens next with Oswald Cobblepot and Edward Nygma after the former stumbled his way onto the Penguin, still recovering from what happened with Tabitha Galavan.

In the video below, you can get what we would say is a pretty in-depth sneak peek at the relationship between the two characters, all courtesy of actor Robin Lord Taylor. He goes through some of the dynamics between these two, including exploring some of why he in particular is having so much fun with the parts. Here’s a quick teaser on it: It’s a chance for him to do something that is completely and utterly differently with someone he has barely worked with so far.

Given that we are close to the fall finale for the show now, we do not expect much in the way of resolution here for these two characters just yet. Instead, this may be the sort of thing that carries on and really does not become an important part of the story until we get to the second half of the season.

Still, what’s not to love about this? It is basically a chance to see two outstanding characters bond and grow to respect each other in some sort of strange, unexpected way.
