‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: More death coming in fall finale

Gotham -This just in: Not everyone is going to be making it through the first half of “Gotham” season 2. This is really saying something, given the fact that this show has had in particular a pretty heavy body count to date. Let us count some of the folks who are no longer with us: Countless henchman, Jerome, Oswald’s mother, and Kris Kringle. They all died in pretty terrible ways, and based on the synopsis below for the fall finale “More Than a Crime” (airing on November 30), at least one of the villains will join him:

“When Bruce Wayne is kidnapped, Gordon must look to some unlikely and dangerous allies for help. It is a battle of the villains, and not everyone makes it out alive.”

At this point, there are a few prime candidates for who could go. As strong as Theo and Tabitha Galavan are as villains, for example, neither is necessarily set to be around the show for the long-term last we heard. It would make some sense for the show to get rid of one or even both of them, and then make its way into a new story arc for the second half of the season that is completely different.

One other person we are still wondering about is the fate of Barbara Kean. While she appeared to be technically still alive, that doesn’t mean that she actually will make it through all that lies ahead. We just wonder with this character if there is a way to redeem her at all at this point; also, she is so out of left field with some of her plans that it’s hard to see any of them working enough that she stays alive.
