‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 4 preview: A deeper look at ‘Double Trouble’
Why in the world did a young man months after enlisting have a stockpile of grenades and $50,000? It is clear almost from the get-go that the mystery at the center of Tuesday night’s new “NCIS” episode is one that will be shrouded in a certain amount of suspicion.
In the sneak-peek below, you can see further what happens when the team gets together to take on this case, which appears by Ducky’s estimation to be a murder. The evidence is there of a deal gone bad, and what we can tell you based on the information we know is that this will have connections in some ways to Leon Vance and his own past.
This installment is entitled “Double Trouble,” and it will feature Vance teaming up with Gibbs in order to form a one-two crime-fighting punch out on the street. Vance is desperate for answers, and his connection to the case and his overall knowledge of it makes him a valuable person to have out in the field. Granted, we still don’t think this is going to go perfectly since it’s been so long since he has played this particular role.
By the end of this episode, we are hopefully going to get a great sense of whether or not this is something that Vance would be interested in doing more of … but we think when the dust settles, he is probably more than happy to just continue working as the Director and letting many of the agents do the work that they are trained to tackle.
