‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 3 preview: The story for Sophia Bush, cast in ‘Actual Physical Violence’

Lindsay -

Chicago PD” season 3 is now two episodes into its run, and it certainly appears as though the feud between Bunny and Voight is only just beginning. Moving into next week’s new episode entitled “Actual Physical Violence,” we’re going to see this story accelerate. Not only that, but this provides a chance to see more of how Lindsay is going to handle being torn between her biological mother, someone she really should be staying away from, and then also her mentor on the police force.

There is more taking place in this episode beyond that, and to see some of that right away, all you have to do is look at the synopsis below:

“While Platt (Amy Morton) tries to manage a chaotic desk area, a man struggling to get her attention takes a drastic action and demands that the unit find his missing daughter. At the same time, Commander Fischer (guest star Kevin J. O’Connor) informs Voight (Jason Beghe) that Bunny (guest star Markie Post) is bringing up new accusations on a case from his past. Lindsay (Sophia Bush) urges her mother to fix the situation. Meanwhile, Antonio (Jon Seda) is shocked to learn a secret Olinksy (Elias Koteas) has been keeping.”

One other thing that is interesting to us will be seeing if any mentions of “Chicago Fire” make it into the episode. After all, this marks the first episode that we’re going to get after the season 4 premiere of that show, which will hopefully help to resolve what is happening with Casey and Dawson. In one way or another, we figure that show will impact things that are going on here.
