‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 3 preview: The quest to help Luke Mitchell’s Lincoln

Lincoln -Through much of the first two episodes this season of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD,” one of the top priorities was seeing Daisy kick off her recruiting mission to Lincoln to join the group. She knows what he is capable of, just as she is well aware that he has the right intentions for working with Coulson and company.

Moving into next week, the mission may change ever-so-slightly: She is going to have to work with some of her friends and allies to keep him safe. Luke Mitchell’s character will be key to the story of “A Wanted (Inhu)man” next week, and just as you would expect, this is not the only important story that will be taking shape. The synopsis below also makes it clear that Hunter has a key mission of his own to go after Grant Ward:

“Daisy, Mack and Coulson race to protect Lincoln as Rosalind’s team hunts down the Inhuman in their quest for powered people. Meanwhile, Hunter proves that there is no line that he will not cross to exact his revenge against Ward and Hydra.”

This will probably still be only the tip of the iceberg, given that “Agents of SHIELD” traditionally does have around four or five different things going on. For example, we have a hard time imagining that the story with Jemma Simmons is anywhere near over. The show is not just going to touch on that for a couple of episodes only to move away from it.
