‘NCIS’ season 13 spoilers: Scottie Thompson returning as Jeanne Benoit
This definitely qualifies as “NCIS” news we did not see coming, mostly because of the fact that it has been so long since we last saw her on the show: Scottie Thompson is coming back as Jeanne!
The news was first hinted at thanks to a Twitter post from the actress alongside Michael Weatherly, and TVLine confirms that her return will be for a multiple-episode arc coming up in the November sweeps. As you may recall, Tony’s history with Jeanne took place all the way back in the fourth season, where the two were together until she realized that he was an agent tasked with watching over her father. He refused to choose her over the work, and a variety of other chaotic situations erupted from there.
While there was some chemistry between the two characters way back when, it is rather hard to sit here and think about the idea of them being together now given their baggage. Has she had a change of philosophy since then? We suppose that it is possible, but we feel more like the purpose for this story is establishing closure more so than putting them together for a long-term relationship.
Ultimately, we still do realize that there is one former love interest of Tony’s who everyone wants to see more than any other, and we are reasonably confident that it will happen eventually. It would be strange for “NCIS” to never revisit Ziva again. That is mostly just a question of timing, and them getting together the right story for people who are still rooting for that couple to reunite.
For now, head over here if you want to preview further the new episode of “NCIS” airing on CBS tonight! Meanwhile, be sure to also sign up here to acquire some further TV news on all we cover, sent right over to you via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: CBS.)

Well the whole ziva issue aside I am not looking forward to this while I agree they had some chemistry for the most part they were boring and they have already brought her back. I do not see this story any more interesting then the last time if they need to involve Tony’s love life give him someone new or stick with Zoe this is going to be the arc we can’t wait till it is over

Beverly, when I said stop stirring the pot, I was referring to this part of the ‘article’:
“Ultimately, we still do realize that there is one former love interest of Tony’s who everyone wants to see more than any other, and we are reasonably confident that it will happen eventually.”
It is the use of “everyone” and “…confident it will happen eventually.” These two quotes are designed to start a war of words between the yay and nay Ziva ‘factions’. I personally would like the discourse to remain about the current cast and storylines.

Agent Carter how about just stick with your opinion of the show and stop annoying other commenters. Everyone’s opinion is not the same so why are you trying to imply that they should be? I would have been fine with your comment if it ended with the first part of your comment. It is you that seeks to stir the pot so to speak and get the Pro-Ziva vs . Anti-Ziva controversy going.

I liked Jeanne. She and Tony had good chemistry. But I still can’t wait for Ziva to return in any capacity.

So glad Jeanne is coming back. I hope it’s a good arc and a great story for Tony. I for one don’t want to see ZIva ever return. She was terrible to Tony and the constant focus on her melodramas got old.

IMO the writers are trying too hard with his love life. I wish they wouldn’t give him this kind of storylines all the time. I’m afraid this will be another screw up. I would rather have them showing Tony out in the field.
